About Me

I'm an animator and digital artist out of boston

you know nothing jon snow

i'm basically a walking qoute machine

I tend to make my points with a lot of arm flailing and quotes from movies and tv shows, many of which I have found sail over the heads of anyone born after 2000. Much to my chagrin. Joss Whedon has been and continues to be a big influence on my story telling style. To me Buffy was the best, Drama and pain punctuated with self aware comedy and an overall message about good evil and power, self reliance, and the power of friendship™. I love comic book art, have always been a Marvel Girl and even more so with their full court media press and inclusivity.

  • Finding Time

“Time to get organized!”  I say, cracking my knuckles. The statement feels good to say, but as the reality of what that will entail sets in? Well, it’s like standing on the edge of a cliff, overlooking a valley filled with clutter that needs to be moved before I can start the trek up the mountain in the distance.

There are so many things I think I have to do, organize my desktop, organize my workspace, organize my fonts, organize organize organize, how can I have a thriving freelance buisness with all this set up I have to do first, there’s just so much! Don’t even get me started on the physical world where we’re drowning in a sea of kids toys and general clutter. How did I get here?

The thing is? If I’m honest, I’ve always been here. Life is a steady flow of disorganization, when something gets settled something else will swim in to fill the void. There never is and never will be enough time. So the best thing I can do, is to try to MAKE time for things, carve out pockets to deal with stuff that piles up, and if I stick to it, maybe I’ll dig my way through that valley of stuff and start trudging up that hill. If there’s one thing I am good at it’s trudging. Someday I’d like to graduate to a light-hearted step, but hey, I’ll take what I can get for now.

    So time to buckle down.
